What is Copistar?Copistar is an easy-to-use smart tool, designed for capturing on-screen documents with multiple pages and saving them as printable pdf files. I lost my registration information... What do I do?Our Sales Department is available to provide assistance in locating your licensing information. Please provide them with as much information as possible. They can be contacted via e-mail at How do I convert demo version into a full version?Once you have purchased the Copistar, you will receive a link where you can download the new full version from. Then you simply install the full version and activate it. Click here for a step-by-step instructions. A demo version of Copistar can not be turned into a full version. Why do I need to activate the software?An activation process must be completed after installing the application, otherwise the Copistar will not work. It is a simple step to prevent unauthorized use of the software and it will only take a few seconds. Please note, if you replace your computer or make extensive hardware changes, you will need to reactivate your software again. How do I activate my Copistar application?The process is quick and secure. All you need is a KeyCode that you will find under "My Licenses" within the Customer Pages on the website (you need to login and browse to "My Licenses" - on the left). Just select the Activate via the Internet, enter the KeyCode into the space provided and press Activate to start the activation process. That's all. When the activation has succeded, a confirmation message will apear. I have a problem with activation. What do I do?If you have a firewall active, you might not be able to complete the automatic activation process. In that case, choose the manual activation. It's very straightforward and the application does not connect directly to the activation server. Simply follow the instructions on the screen. If you should still have problems, please contact our support. Is there any limitation regarding the number of pages to be captured?No, there is no limitations whatsoever. You can capture an entire document, regardless of the size or the number of pages it might include. What kind of resolution shoud I use to achieve best results?Standard print resolution for a good-looking photo print is 300dpi. It really depends on the type of content and the level of quality you are looking for, but we recommend you use at least 200dpi for text. |
